We see so many messages from customers who are unsatisfied with their dealer, I thought I'd offer a satisfied story.

Saturday my LX5 cutter stopped cutting. Even though it's a slip-clutch unit, a bolt just forward of the gearbox had sheared off. I called the dealer and talked to the salesman. The problem didn't sound like what was described in the owner manual regarding a seized clutch. The salesman insisted on coming out and replacing the bolt as he said it didn't sound right to him either.

Long story short, he drove 20 miles to my place this AM, replaced the bolt and eased the clutch bolts before he drove the now 50 miles to get to the dealership to go to work.

Anyone in central Alabama who is looking for a fair price and good customer service on a tractor or implements, see Harold Bridges at Gray & Sons in Clanton, AL.

Although I don't live in Alabama, it is refreshing to here a story of a dealer rep that is concerned enough to go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. Thanks for the good message.

Although my dealer's corporate staff should all be fired, the sales guy took good care of me and still did. When my aux light kit showed up, he came out to my place to install it. He did this since it was supposed to be installed at time of purchase (note: see comment about the corporate staff). He tries hard and I think they'd be in trouble if not for him. ....
